Review
Sally has knocked it out of the park with this outing of Cavendish and Walker! I was fascinated by ‘Dark Secrets’ - I read it in one sitting. It had a sense of evil permeating off the pages as soon as you found out that the crime involved a whole family being killed whilst sitting around their dining table. This is the 11th book in the series but it definitely can be read as a standalone but you should go.and read the whole series as they are so good!
Whitney has taken some well deserved time off work as her daughter has just given birth to her daughter! Whitney is now a granny! However, she is called back into work as a family have been found murdered whilst sat having their dinner. It turns out to be a very complicated case and therefore needs George’s help more than ever.
This is a series which really grips the reader, both the characters and the narrative are all very well-formed! I loved that this time Whitney was giving George advice on her life as it's normally the other way round! But, it was definitely the case that hooks you this time as it's devilishly dark, complex and enthralling. With many suspects, twists and turns it will captivate your imagination.
Let me know if you read this one!
