‘Leap’ is a compelling technothriller that is packed full of action, and is fast-paced and I flew through it in one day! This is the first book in the series that OC Heaton has written and I will definitely be reading it as I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Despite there being a lot of science included in the book it was easy to follow for a non-scientific mind aka me. Obviously, I can't comment on the validity of it but it didn't seem too outlandish, just embellished enough to create an entertaining thriller.
The chapters were short and flipped back and forth throughout the time, which meant the tension built up nicely right from the start as the action starts pretty much from the beginning. It also helped to create the confusion and uncomfortable feeling that the technology in the story gives the reader. The action follows mainly Ethan and Uma and they were both complex and interesting characters. I would like to know more about Ethan and his background as that was intriguing!
