Capital Crime announces the shortlist for this year's Fingerprint Awards

The Fingerprint Awards champion the very best in crime writing, as voted for by the readers. Authors old and new are represented across the categories, which are Crime Novel of the Year, Thriller Novel of the Year, Historical Crime Novel of the Year, Debut Novel of the Year, Audiobook of the Year and Genre-Busting Book of the Year.

Readers will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite authors via the Capital Crime Website, from tomorrow until Monday 7th August. The winners will be announced on Thursday 31st August at the festival.
